The small town of Cardinal, Illinois was normal for a while. It was like any other suburban city— it had a population of around 7,500 with the residents being messed up kids who were either on drugs or selling them, and sweetheart, kind children who would help old women cross the street. There were rapists and murderers, and police officers and firefighters. There was orphaned children and single parents, and literately just about anything or person you could think of.
