How was High School? That is what twelve students from Richards High School in Oak Lawn are asking themselves. They have finally made it to graduation, but as a wake up call to them from their beloved Guidance Counsler, Mrs. Fletcher, they are being taught the biggest lesson of their lives. All their school years they did what normal students did, try to fit in. Now that they are headed into the real world as adults, they need to learn what its like to face their problems head on…

Everything in fashion is cyclical, and boybands are no exception to this rule. Boybands are perhaps one of the biggest mainstays of the global music industry, and there’s always some sort of boyband dominating any given market, be it in America, the United Kingdom, or most recently, South Korea. As the world gets smaller and smaller, an increasing amount of boybands are exporting themselves out of their home country and onto foreign soil, in the hopes of expanding their empire to new audiences around the world. In 2013, there are four such boybands that are really making names for themselves, all in different ways from one another. They are:

• SOUTH STREET, an American band created on a reality show, currently setting the charts on fire worldwide.
• FREE MOVEMENT, a British group of lads currently making names for themselves on the American market.
• GROOVJET, a Korean band with its sight set on cracking the United States.
• ABOVE, a recently-reunited American boyband that wants to reclaim their stake on the charts. 

All is fair in love songs and dance-offs. Who will come out on top? It’s a real boyband rivalry we got here.

She went mad with the effects that the drugs caused to her brains and to her body. So after being checked into a clinic, she was deemed helpless and locked away in a room. The only things doctors didn’t know was that by locking her up, they caused Rachel to create a world that only existed in her mind… And in this world lived her “friends”, human beings whom were clueless of Rachel’s existence.

As long as anyone can remember, Santa Claus has always been just a myth. But all myths have a truth to it, don’t they? They always originate from something, somewhere. 

Hidden away on the North Pole is Santa’s Village. Its residents consist of Santa Claus himself and rescued children.

These children have had a hard life. Most of them were abused and neglected by their parents, even abandoned. Some have been on the brink of death, and some have been put into the foster system only to be moved from one terrible home to the next. All his life, Santa Claus has been inviting these children to the North Pole to live a better life and live among others who have suffered the same.

this is college, not olympus. and you've never been so hopelessly lost.

welcome to nyu. for these twelve kids going to college has been their dream for a while now, and coming this fall, everything is falling into to place. they’re out of the homes they hate, away from the friends that they have never really liked. this a new start in a brand new place. 

granted nobody warned them their social life now relies on the sororities and fraternities that court them. they have been pressured into rushing, but there is something intriguing about the promise of a group of people that’ll accept them. perhaps it will be this, that will drive away their crippling loneliness.

it doesn’t, of course, it doesn’t, but this is everything they’ve ever dreamed off. isn’t it?

they meet at a party, wasted, trying to forget that they’ve been fooled by their dream. and suddenly, everything is differently. none of them have ever laid eyes on another, but it’s as if they have none each other all of their lives. lovers, brothers, and true friends. this is what they’ve been missing.

they can’t help but think, this is what college is about.

extra information

• this would be better suited for a small group (6x6), but, given the right amount of dedication, could also work for a larger group.
• be brave in your creation of sororities and fraternities. perhaps two major groups for each gender. think about contrasts.
• i wrote this plot under the idea that they don’t know they are reincarnations.
• this is not a complete plot, this is only meant to serve as inspiration. take what you’d like and run with it.

3,000 people kill themselves daily, taking their lives into their own hands and ending them. Some are old, some are young, some sick, some poor - and some see it as their only way out. But, death is supposed to come naturally at an old age, so when a young person takes their own life, it is seen as a waste. Not meant for heaven, which is meant for those who die naturally, these young people are sent to Endless; a place of hope, and youth - a place for lost souls to live.
