Ask away. However, I am currently on mobile. If you want it to private it will be a couple of hours. :( sorry.

Anonymous asked: "i started to para with someone and it seemed like our character had chemistry but the person simply stopped our para in the middle and started to para with someone else. i really don't know what to think, should i talk to the person and ask what's wrong?"

I would just casually remind her about your para. Sometimes people get caught up in planning another para they forget the ones they have going.

angelinthebackseat asked: "So, I would really like to move my original roleplay from deviantART to tumblr. Are there any major, notable differences between how the two websites set up their rps? I would prefer a live chat experience, do rps on tumblr do that? And if so, what platforms do they use?"

Well, I’ve never roleplays on deviantART before.

I do know that there is not a lot of live chat on tumblr. There are chatzy links, but most of it is gif chat and paras. Mainly paras. Which is paragraphs. I think that’s a main difference.

Um…I wish I could help more. But I’m not sure what it’s like to roleplay on deviantART.

Can some of my fellow critics help me out.

The only reason I’m posting this.

Anonymous asked: "Um... Hey ^^ I haven't RP'ed before, but I was wondering how you start an RP! There aren't any friends who want to RP with me, and I'm thinking of finding someone who'll just randomly pop up within the fandom; Is that the right thing to do?"

You can do that. I find some of my best co-admins by doing that. You just have to make sure that you can trust the person that you are wanting to start a rolepaly with.

Anonymous asked: "I'm sorry to bother you, but I was just wondering what you should do if you've been on a rp for a while and really developed your character and all of the sudden there's someone new who makes her character act exactly like yours. It's getting a little frustrating, but I don't want to offend her. It just bothers me because that's my character and she shouldn't have hers be the exact same thing. Thanks for any advice you have. Your blog is amazing <3"

Oh geezes. Are you sure she is acting just like your character?

If she really is. I would bring it to her attention nicely. Don’t be rude about it, because she just might admire the way you roleplay that character and write. That she wants to be like you, which is perfectly fine. However, she needs to find her own way of writing and style.

I would just say something along the lines, “I’ve noticed that are characters are a lot like. Haven’t you?”

You are not stepping on toes and it can open up another conversation to talk about it.

Thank you :D

Anonymous asked: "Hi! How would you recommend playing a character who used to be a really sweet girl and now has closed herself off and appears very cold-hearted? Aside from that I just wanted to say thanks for this wonderful blog. I would have been so clueless if I hadn't found it :)"

Thank you, love.

I would make her kind of like bitchy character. One that she is like worrying about what everyone is doing around her or she feels like all eyes are on her. Something along those lines could work. You could also play her as a manipulator

Anonymous asked: "How do you get through writer's block? Trying to reply to a para right now, I feel like I would do better by banging my head against they keyboard. HELP"

I don’t force myself to write.

I generally, listen to music, work out, watch tv…take a shower. Distract my mind from anything but writing. Then I slowly start to write again.

Anonymous asked: "Okay, I made an original role play and all sorts of critics have expressed interest in it but after I opened and posted all of the characters and blah blah there were no submissions sent in. I deleted all of the posts (I have them saved on my computer) and decided to re-vamp everything but now I can't think of what to do. Can you help?"

I hate when that happens. That happened to one of my roleplays earlier this year.

Sigh.

I would re-vamp. Maybe change up the face claims, write more to the bios, maybe even re-write the plot. Get a new theme. Make new graphics.

I would make sure this time that it stands out to everyone.

Anonymous asked: "How do open paras work, and how would I title it? Oh and one more thing... I love you!"

Open paras is basically a para that has no one to start it with. Generally, people can jump in on that para.

I would normally title it after something that goes with  the para and (open). That way people know it’s an open para.

Anonymous asked: "How do you name paras? I really can't think of anything :S"

I normally name mine after song titles or lyrics. I find a song that works with para theme.
